Driving through Mississippi

We're currently driving through Mississippi on our way to New Orleans
for Jazzfest. The road is lined with magnolias and honeysuckle. There
are also patches of deep purple flowers that are beautiful against the
lush green of the forest.

Oh, hey! We just crossed the state line into Louisiana!

We're listening to the soundtrack to the musical Chess. Kurt is singing.

We've passed several houses being transported by truck, so the current
question up for debate is, "Can that possibly be all that
cost-effective?" That debate isn't lasting very long, though, because
we both suspect the answer is no. I think we got more milage out of
Tuesday's "What comes from Milwaukee?" game.

Wow...Chess is one of my favorite shows. Now, imagining Kurt singing it through Mississippi...it might not be any more.
